Several more casinos are opening up in New York state from the Catskills to the region near Albany. Wynn Resorts plans to open a casino in 2017 in Everett, Mass., outside Boston. An $800 million MGM Springfield casino in downtown Springfield is expected to open in 2017 or 2018. And it won’t stop there, as the gambling landscape in the Northeast promises to get even more crowded.
